About Island Therapies
Island Therapies opened its doors to families in 1987 providing occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy to children from birth to adolescence. It was among the first private practices to provide a team approach. Island Therapies has dedicated itself to providing quality and state of the art therapies within a small family friendly environment for more than 30 years and plans to continue to do so. Island Therapies has added special education, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), and psychological services. The practice is still owned by the original proprietors who continue to provide treatment. All staff who are employed by Island Therapies are hand picked by the owners and are well trained in their respective fields. All professional staff are qualified, specially trained personnel credentialed and submitted to New York State for background checks and licensed or certified by the State of New York.
The partners of Island Therapies bring extensive and varied experiences to their practice. To learn more about each of our partners, please click on their names linked to the left.
