Island Therapies of Suffolk, L.L.P. - Programs

				Early Intervention Parent & Child Group Parent & Child groups are currently offered Friday mornings at 9:30AM, 10:15AM, and 11AM. Each group is conducted by a certified special education teacher and an occupational therapist, and runs for 45 minutes. Parent & Child groups are designed to increase socialization, language, following directions, attention, play, sensory motor, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and participation in music and finger-plays. A 45-minute session consists of gross motor/sensory motor play, music, finger-plays, fine motor/art activity, bubbles/parachute, and snack/story time. Municipal funding may be available for your child.
